 KIDS GREEN TEAM

May is National Bike Month, and GoRedmond is providing a map to track how you're traveling to school. Our Green Team want to support this initiative. Below, you'll find the link to access the tracker. Please ensure you complete the tracker throughout this month and send it back to us by May 31st. If you're unable to print, you can use a reusable paper to jot down the date and your mode of transportation to school.

We're eager to see you in action:

  • If you're traveling in a group via biking, walking, or carpooling, simply send us your group's tracker with the names of participating students.
  • If you're an individual student, please send us your personal tracker.
  • We'll be delighted to receive photos of your eco-friendly commute!

Let's make every journey count towards a greener future. Access the tracker here.

As we gear up for another week, let's stay mindful of how we commute to school, whether it's biking, walking, or carpooling. Every effort counts towards reducing our carbon footprint.  Remember to send your photos to sustainability@rosaparksptsa.org

Also, as cultural night approaches, don't forget to bring your reusable water bottle to stay hydrated while minimizing waste. Let's make conscious choices to contribute positively to our environment both on our way to school and during our community events.

Birthday Books

Birthday Books is a PTA-sponsored program.  It is a great way to celebrate your child’s birthday while enhancing Rosa Park's Library collection. This allows our school community the gift of reading. A Birthday Book can be donated by signing up online. Making a donation to the Birthday Book program will enable our Librarian to select and purchase a book on behalf of the birthday child.
