GET INVOLVED — VOLUNTEER!
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is needed! Complete the Volunteer Interest Form and we will be in touch with you.
Don't forget Corporate Matching!
Some companies will match volunteer hours. As an example, Microsoft matches employee donations of time. Volunteer time is matched at $25 per hour. Please consult with your employee on volunteer matching programs that can benefit Rosa Parks.
HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing PUMA volunteers!
You are the backbone of our organization, we won't be without YOU!

LWSD VOLUNTEER REMINDER
Rosa Parks is happy to welcome our volunteers back into our school. At this time, volunteers are allowed in the building, but not in the classrooms or shared learning spaces. All volunteers will need to be an approved LWSD volunteer, follow the current masking and physical distancing requirements, and sign in at the school office.
LWSD is following Governor Inslee’s vaccination mandate regarding K-12 volunteers. As of October 18, volunteers in our schools will have to be vaccinated. There are now two ways for volunteers to show proof of vaccination. These will be available until at least Oct. 18: In-person and Remote through Microsoft Teams. Visit this link to learn more.
As a reminder, all volunteers will need to be approved LWSD volunteers, follow the current masking and physical distancing requirements, and sign in at the school office. If you’ve let your volunteer approval status lapse or you need to apply for the first time, please submit the application NOW! Here is the link to the Raptor online volunteer application. If you have any questions about your approval status, please contact Chris Robison.
