Why should I join the PTSA?

By joining the Rosa Parks PTSA, you become part of an incredible all-volunteer organization making a difference for each of our Pumas. The Rosa Parks PTSA works every day to provide resources, funding, programs, and educational enrichment for every student. It also makes you a part of the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation. Your PTSA dues provide funding for local, state-wide, and national advocacy on behalf of students: Lake Washington PTSA Council, Washington State PTA, and National PTA.

Plus, membership has its privileges! As a member, you also receive Washington State PTSA member perks and National PTA member offers. In addition, you will gain access to our school directory.

IF I AM ABLE TO LOG INTO THE WEBSITE, DOES THAT AUTOMATICALLY MAKE ME A MEMBER?

By logging into the website www.rosaparksptsa.org you’ll get access to lots of information about our PTSA and school, but that doesn’t mean that you are a PTSA Member.

How do I become a PTSA member?

It's easy! Go to the tab on the top named "Membership" and click on "Become a Member"

How much does PTSA membership cost?

An Individual Membership has a cost of $20; a Family Membership is the perfect way for all members in a household to join (two adults in the same household) and costs $30.

Is my membership lifelong?

The PTSA Membership is valid for one school year, you will need to renew it every school year to continue to be a PTSA member

How do I know if I already paid for membership this year?

what happens if my family can't afford to buy a membership?

Rosa Parks PTSA offers full membership subsidies to families for whom membership dues are a financial hardship at this time. If you would like to request a membership subsidy, contact the school counselor at ehirano@lwsd.org.
