VOLUNTEER AWARDS

Each year, Rosa Parks Elementary PTSA recognizes individuals who have given extraordinary service to our school, organization, community, and students. We welcome you to participate in the selection of our volunteer award recipients by submitting nominations. The Awards Committee will make a final decision on the recipients of the awards. Please submit nominations by Friday, April 24th. Please email volunteers@rosaparksptsa.org with any questions.

FUNDRAISING

Did your family make a pledge during our APEX Fun Run? Your donation might be eligible for a corporate match, which could double your impact for our school at no extra cost to you!

Many employers offer matching gift programs for charitable donations. Simply check with your company’s HR department or matching gifts portal and submit the request using your original pledge receipt.

It only takes a few minutes and can make a big difference for our PTSA programs. Thank you for supporting our students and school community!

LOOKING FOR YOU

We are looking for volunteers to step into the role of VP Programs for the 2026–27 school year.

VP Programs oversees our after‑school programs—working with vendors, coordinating schedules, and helping ensure students have access to fun, engaging activities right on campus.

This role can be shared between two people
Training and support will be provided
Your work directly impacts hundreds of students

Birthday Books

Birthday Books is a PTA-sponsored program. It is a great way to celebrate your child’s birthday while enhancing Rosa Park's Library collection. This allows our school community the gift of reading. A Birthday Book can be donated by signing up online. Making a donation to the Birthday Book program will enable our Librarian to select and purchase a book on behalf of the birthday child.

Corporate Matching

This is quite possibly one of the easiest ways to provide extra funds to our school's PTSA. Our programs rely on your donations as well as your corporate matching! Many local companies match donations to non-profit organizations so you can get your donations matched. Please check with your employer to find out if the money you donate to the Rosa Parks Elementary PTSA can be matched.
