NEWS FROM OUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE

Congratulations Rosa Parks!

We did it again! Despite having a year of constant changes, one thing was always the same, the interest of our students to learn more and become great leaders. Even though we did not have in-person lessons most of our year, the Green Team Committee worked hard to bring out ideas to share with our students and we had a great Earth Week with lots of student participation! What a year!!! Thanks for your support, and special thanks to the amazing Puma Volunteers. Without you, we would not have been able to accomplish so much!

Family Events

International Night is one of our most popular community events at Rosa Parks. We have missed all of you in school and hopefully, we can celebrate bigger next year. Let’s make the best of this year and not miss the chance to celebrate our rich cultural diversity, though virtually. Please make a short Flipgrid video and share with us about your culture, food, music, and/or traditional wear. It will be great to see you in your cultural costumes! Parents are also welcome to join the students and share their cultural traditions with us.

If you have any pictures/videos from International Night Celebrations in school from past years please share with us on our Facebook page  @rosaparksptsa or you can email us at community@rosaparksptsa.org Thank you!
