As you know, the 3 first classrooms to reach a 100% membership by September 30th will receive a classroom surprise and a VIP dedicated parking spot for their teacher. All the classrooms reaching a 100% membership by September 30th will receive a surprise Puma visit!!

 

Here is a summary of how the classes are looking, there is still time to get your class up to number 1!!! Remember, you can also sponsor a teacher or staff!

Our membership goal for this year is 100% membership, including teachers and staff!

 We are offering reduced-price annual membership dues until September 30th: 

  • $15 individual membership
  • $25 family membership 
  • $12 staff and teachers.


After September 30th prices for our memberships going to be in a regular price:


  • $20 individual membership
  • $35 family membership 
  • $18 staff and teachers.



Win a classroom surprise for your Student!

  • - The first 3 classes to reach 100% membership by September 30th will receive a classroom surprise and a designated VIP parking spot for their teacher. 
  • - All the classes that reach 100% membership by September 30th will receive a Puma Surprise visit.

Every member will receive a customizable puma sticker to label their favorite school accessory! (1 sticker for individual membership, 2 stickers for a family membership, while supplies last).

Math Challenge Enrollment Starts Sep 27th

Math Challenge is a set of 15 challenges published approximately every two weeks and each set will present 10-18 problems ordered by level of difficulty.


 The goal of Math Challenge is to enrich the school curriculum and to encourage different ways of problem solving. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to be involved and enjoy math through fun and engaging math problems. We encourage parents and siblings to get involved in discussing and solving them.

 

Math Challenge is a PTSA sponsored program that is

  • Open to all students, grades K-5
  • Free to participate 
  • Requires registration at the beginning of the year 
  • Sign up will be open between (September 27- October 29) 
  • Run by parent volunteers  
  • Registration for Math Challenge is free however we are accepting donations to run PTSA programs like Math Challenge. Just a small donation can help run math Challenge program and other PTSA programs at Rosa Parks Elementary.

Volunteer Orientation: October 1st. at 12pm

Do you want to have a direct and positive impact on student social and academic success? Do you want to improve and strengthen the school community? Do you want to provide support to programs that would not exist without volunteers? Do you want to enrich the lives of students and the learning environment at Rosa Parks?

Join us for a PTSA Volunteer Orientation on October 1st at 12 pm and learn how you can make a difference by becoming a Rosa Parks PTSA Volunteer! 

Volunteer Approval is not required to attend this Volunteer Orientation.
