By joining Rosa Parks PTSA, you become part of an incredible all-volunteer organization making a difference in the lives of each of our Pumas. Rosa Parks PTSA works every day to provide resources, funding, programs, and educational enrichment for every student. 

When you join Rosa Parks PTSA, you also become part of a national advocacy organization. The more people who support the organization by becoming members, the more weight PTA has at the state and national level to lobby lawmakers for programs that benefit schools and children. It’s not only about how much we can do for our PTSA but the bigger picture.

Our membership goal for this year is 100% membership, including teachers and staff!

 We are offering reduced-price annual membership dues until September 30th: 

• $15 individual membership
• $25 family membership 
• $12 staff and teachers.

• - The first 3 classes to reach 100% membership by September 30th will receive a classroom surprise and a designated VIP parking spot for their teacher. 
• - All the classes that reach 100% membership by September 30th will receive a Puma Surprise visit.

Every member will receive a customizable puma sticker to label their favorite school accessory! (1 sticker for individual membership, 2 stickers for a family membership, while supplies last).

Online ordering will be open until September 17th. No orders will be accepted after this deadline.

Orders will be delivered to the school 3-4 weeks after orders close and will be distributed to students to take home.

Kindergarten and New Families Welcome!

Join us at the front of the school after drop-off for half an hour to meet other Kindergarten families! Mrs. Doering will attend to introduce herself. There will also be PTSA Board members to answer your questions about Rosa Parks!

Join us, virtually, for our first General Membership Meeting of the year where we will be voting to approve the budget for this school year and adopting the updated Standing Rules and Policies.

  • Being a member doesn't mean you have to volunteer or attend our meetings (but it gives you the voice to participate in them)

  • Volunteer for an event, to help in the workroom, join the Board of directors... there are many opportunities. From once per year to many times as you wish, any amount of time makes a difference!!
• Get approved or renew your LWSD volunteer status (every 2 years)
  • All volunteers need to be approved LWSD volunteers, you can find more information on LWSD volunteer approval and renewal on our website.

• Order Birthday Books
  • Donate a book to the Rosa Parks Library for your student’s birthday, you will support our library and create a tribute to your student that will last for years to come! 
• Order Puma Wear
  • Show your Spirit! Online ordering will be available from September 1st to 17th.

  • We have been ask to pause plans of PTSA lead After School Programs until LWSD and Council send their guidelines.
