Welcome back to school! We hope you all had a great summer!

Our Rosa Parks PTSA board welcomes you! We are looking forward to this new year full of opportunities for our Pumas. Our commitment towards our families and our school remains strong to support our community.

Back to School Checklist


  • Add new student info/ edit grade & teacher for current students 
  • Purchase a PTSA membership (required for after school programs registration)
    • Membership is a great to support our PTSA! Join now and take advantage of our Membership drive! From August 15th to September 30th our annual membership dues are reduced to $15 individual membership, $25 family membership and $12 teacher/staff membership.
    • Sponsor a teacher! Give the gift of a membership!
    • Prizes for those classes with 100% membership (including teacher)!! Win a classroom surprise for your student plus a VIP dedicated parking spot for their teacher (first 3 classrooms to reach 100% membership before Sept. 30th.)
    • Every classroom that reaches 100% membership will receive a Puma Surprise visit!
    • Every member will receive a customizable Puma Sticker to label their favorite school accessory!
    • Rosa Parks PTSA offers full membership subsidies to families whom membership dues are a financial hardship at this time. 
    • Being a member doesn't mean you have to volunteer or attend our meetings (but it gives you the voice to participate in them)
  • Volunteer interest Sign-up
    • Volunteer for an event, to help in the workroom, join the Board of directors... there are many opportunities. From once per year to many times as you wish, any amount of time makes a difference!!
  • Get approved or renew your LWSD volunteer status (every 2 years)
    • All volunteers need to be approved LWSD volunteers, you can find more information on LWSD volunteer approval and renewal on our website.

  • Order Birthday Books
    • Donate a book to the Rosa Parks Library for your student’s birthday, you will support our library and create a tribute to your student that will last for years to come! 
  • Order Puma Wear
    • Show your Spirit! Online ordering will be available from September 1st to 17th. 
  • Find out more information about After School Programs and Enrichment 
    • We have been ask to pause plans of PTSA lead After School Programs until LWSD and Council send their guidelines. 
    • The Redmond Boys & Girls Club provides before and after school childcare and activities for Rosa Parks students. More info here
