MARCH IS NATIONAL READING MONTH

 

March is National Reading Month, Unlock New Adventures!
 
Exciting news – March is turning into a month of awesome adventures! High Trek Adventures is teaming up with Rosa Parks PTSA for a fantastic combo of reading and fitness! All you need to do is dive into the world of books for 8 hours (that's 480 minutes) throughout March, and guess what? You'll unlock a special voucher for some cool adventures! 
 
This week, a Reading Log will go home with your student, look for a purple paper! Starting April 1st, use this link to share your reading minutes, and claim your activity prize at one of High Trek’s locations. If you ever need guidance on this epic journey, your Read 4 Adventure Program Coordinator is ready to help, email Luna Egido at treasurer@rosaparksptsa.org. So, get set for a month full of happy reading and wild adventures!

We're looking for the next PTSA board members for the for the 2024-2025 school year. All of them are really important for keeping our association vital and thriving. All the positions can have co-VPs/President, so you won't be working by yourself!

Birthday Books

Birthday Books is a PTA-sponsored program.  It is a great way to celebrate your child’s birthday while enhancing Rosa Park's Library collection. This allows our school community the gift of reading. A Birthday Book can be donated by signing up online. Making a donation to the Birthday Book program will enable our Librarian to select and purchase a book on behalf of the birthday child.

Our programs rely on your donations as well as your corporate matching! Many local companies match donations to non-profit organizations so you can get your donations matched.
